Alternative backgrounds in styles from SeeMona's Blog

Many of my slide styles come with 2, or more, alternative backgrounds.
How do you choose to show the background that you like, and not the other/s ?

It's very, very simple !

Most of my styles use layer backgrounds, instead of slide backgrounds.
That is, I place an image or a gradient, at the very bottom of my layers stack, beneath all the other images, and it looks as if this image is the actual background of that slide.

This allows me to offer you more than one background to choose from in each slide.

Let's look for example at the style Falling Pictures, that comes with either a tablecloth background or a wooden background.
Go to Slide > Slide Options
OR
Edit Slide

Notice the Layers
Both backgrounds are placed at the bottom of all the other layers, while the regular images are in higher layers.

Layer 7, the tablecloth background, is placed above the wooden background.
Since both backgrounds have the same size, the wood background cannot be seen.

In order to show it, all you have to do is either delete or hide (disable) the tablecloth background.
Click on the eye icon at the right of the tablecloth background.
Notice that this layer becomes grayed out (hidden, disabled) and the layer beneath it is now visible.

Now your slide will look like this:

Did I say simple already ? :-)
